The basics

Every two weeks, Ace Up adds up what the house won and what it lost at your venue, and pays you 30% of the net.
  • Periods are two whole weeks, Monday 00:00 UTC to the second Sunday 23:59 UTC.
  • The close runs on the Monday after.
  • Calculated per asset, each kept separate all the way through.
  • Paid to an address you control, on that chain.
The default share is 30%. Ace Up can set a venue anywhere between 20% and 70%, but 30% is what a venue gets unless something has been agreed otherwise.

Net house win, not turnover

Your share is of the net — everything the house won minus everything it lost. Not of the amount wagered. There is no rake and no table fee taken from players. The house edge is the only thing the venue earns, so the edge is what you are sharing in.

Losing periods, and carry-forward

Players sometimes win. When the house loses money at your venue over a period:
  • You are paid nothing that period.
  • You never owe anything. Ace Up carries the loss.
  • The deficit is carried forward and has to be earned back before the next payout.

Worked through

Period 3 is the one to read twice. The house won 1.0 SOL, but 0.6 of it repaid the previous period’s deficit, so your share is 30% of 0.4 — not of 1.0. If a deficit is larger than the next period’s win, it simply carries again.
Carry-forward is not a clawback. Ace Up never takes money back from a payout you have already received, and a deficit is never turned into a debt.

The payout threshold

A period that earns you less than the threshold is not sent — it accrues and rolls into the next payout, so a small period is never lost to a transaction fee. The accruing amount is shown on your dashboard, not hidden. Amounts are always rounded down to a whole base unit, so the bankroll is never short by a rounding error.

If you have not set an address

The payout is held, not cancelled. Set a payout address and the held amount is released on the next run.

Statements

Every closed period produces a statement, winning or losing, with:
  • hands played and total handle
  • house net for the period
  • carry-forward in and out
  • your share
  • the transaction link once it is sent
A losing period produces a statement too, and it says so plainly rather than quietly not arriving.
